
The trip, which lasted from April 18-23, was the tenth of its kind held for overseas Vietnamese by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Vietnam People's Navy to help them learn about the life of the residents and military in the East Sea.
The 47 overseas Vietnamese people were among a delegation of over 200 visitors to Truong Sa Island District this year.

The delegation attended a national flag saluting ceremony and gave presents to soldiers and local people, among other activities.
