Under the Ministry of Transport’s decision, the projects have a total length of 700 kilometres, including the major sections of Ha Tinh-Quang Tri, Quang Ngai-Nha Trang and Can Tho.
The Ministry of Transport has approved an investment of VND147 trillion (USD6.33 billion) for 12 North-South expressway subprojects
The government instructed concerned agencies in February to co-operate with localities to carry out the sub-projects.
The ministry finished the appraisal of the project’s feasible study by late June.
The ministry will complete procedures to start the project before December this year.
