Ao Dai wearers enjoy free admission to Saigon Zoo

Women wearing Vietnamese traditional long dresses (Ao Dai) will get free admission to Saigon Zoo and Botanical Garden in HCM City in celebration of the coming Vietnamese Women’s Day on October 20.

The free tickets will be available only on October 20. For the rest of the month, the admission fee for women will be reduced to VND40,000 (USD1.61) each.

On this year’s International Women's Day (March 8), the Saigon Zoo also offered free admission for women wearing Ao Dai. Additionally, women in Ao Dai received half-priced tickets when visiting the site on other days of the month.

Established in 1864, Saigon Zoo is among eight oldest zoos in the world. It is home to 2,144 animals from 128 species, including various imported animals like giraffes, hippos, zebras, lions, and Bengal tigers.

Saigon Zoo now nurtures more than 2,500 large trees from 380 different species.
