The fireworks display will take place at the Saigon River Tunnel in Thu Duc City. The 15-minute show will begin at 9 pm.

To ensure traffic safety and public order for the firework show, traffic will be banned between 7-10 pm on some streets including Le Loi, Dong Khoi, Ton Duc Thang, Nguyen Tat Thanh, Ham Nghi, Hai Trieu, Ton That Thiep, Huynh Thuc Khang, Ly Tu Trong, Le Thanh Ton, Dng Du, and Mac Thi Buoi.

Five streets around the Cong Truong Me Linh Roundabout including Ngo Duc Ke, Hai Ba Trung, Ho Huan Nghiep, Phan Van Dat, and Thi Sach will also be closed to traffic during that time, together with two bridges of Ba Son and Khanh Hoi.

Traffic will also be banned on Nguyen Hue Street in District 1 between 6-11 pm on September 2 when various cultural and entertainment events being held to celebrate National Day.

Public workers nationwide are enjoying four consecutive days off from August 31 to September 3.
