Woman calls for help for injured husband and daughter
A woman in Ha Tinh Province is calling for financial support after her husband and daughter were injured in a traffic accident while on the way home from Dong Nai Province.
On July 31, Khan who was carrying their daughter crashed into a cart on the side of the road in Quang Nam Province.
"Maybe he was too tired driving for too long," Hoa said.
"When I was quarantined, a university student helped transfer necessary items to my husband and daughter. He is still helping me now," she said.
Dr Nguyen Hoang Son said Hoa's husband had broken his left leg and right femur. Her daughter has a broken right femur and has recovered well. With health insurance, their treatment cost nearly VND40m (USD1,700). The family have already paid VND30m but are still paying VND1.4m per day.
Hoa said she had borrowed money from friends and neighbours to pay hospital charges.
