The highly anticipated Rock Storm live music concert at My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi left the crowd disappointed with a show that seemed more like a damp spell than a full-on power-chord driven typhoon.
Critics bemoaned the performance that seemed heavy on traditional rock, and lacked the more Vietnamese-popular the genres of hard rock, progressive and heavy metal.
Only a few bands notched up memorable performances, with the plaudits going to Quai Vat Ti Hon, Rose Wood and Ngu Cung.
