Tran Thi Linh Chi, a bone cancer victim, reported about previously by DTiNews, is preparing for a new treatment period in the hospital. She has maintained her brave nature and is ready to endure her treatment.
On April 27, Dan Tri/DTiNews visited Chi when she returned to K Hospital’s Branch in Tam Hiep, Thanh Tri, Hanoi for her treatment after she spent several days at home in Da Hoi Hamlet, Chau Khe Commune, Tu Son District, Bac Ninh Province.
Tran Thi Nghi, Chi’s mother, said that Chi was admitted into the hospital for over 1 year and underwent a second treatment plan. A portion of her arm bone was cut off and it is hard for her hand to hold anything. When the weather changes, it becomes particularly painful and swollen.
Linh Chi was given a donation from a charity club
“This treatment period may last for a minimum of 20 days. I am not scared as I used to be, but I still feel very tired. I wish to recover soon so I can continue going to school. I love to go to school so much,” shared Linh Chi.
Linh Chi is a very sociable and adorable girl. She has to spends the whole day bedridden so it is a simple joy for her when she has somebody to talk and play with.
Since Chi’s case was reported by Dan Tri/DTiNews, many friends her age called and sent their regards to Chi, making her feel very happy and touched.
According to Nghi, many kind donors supported Chi in such difficult moments. She received a total of VND10 million ($526) which was spent on Chi’s medicine and food.
This time, Dan Tri/DTiNews gave Linh Chi a donation of VND2,750,000 ($145) from its readers. “I do not know how to give my thanks to all the wonderful donors. I hope my daughter gets well soon,” said Nghi.
