The additional flights, offering 134,800 seats, will be operated from January 17-22. They are primarily for routes from HCM City to northern and central destinations, which have been nearly fully booked.
Specifically, the Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City route will account for 90 flights, followed by Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City with 89 flights; HCM City-Danang with 24 flights; Haiphong-HCM City with 43 flights; HCM City-Thanh Hoa and Ho Chi Minh City-Vinh with 24 flights each; and HCM City-Hue with 23 flights.
The additional flights will provide passengers with more options during the peak days of January 23-24, when demand is at its highest. Specifically, VietJet Air, Vietnam Airlines, and Bamboo Airways will operate late-night and early-morning flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, Danang, and Vinh during this period, ensuring greater flexibility for travellers.
