The footage was posted on Tik Tok by Hong Kieu, 28, who is lives in Tibet, China.
The video, set to the song Writing the Next Chapter of Peace by musician Nguyen Van Chung, has gained nearly 3 million views along with hundreds of thousands of likes and comments.

“So proud, Vietnamese people show their love for the country no matter where they are in the world. Thank you and the younger generation for spreading patriotism from afar,” user Duc Hung commented.
“Sending my heartfelt love from the Roof of the World. Wherever I go, my heart always turns to my homeland. I am proud to be Vietnamese and grateful to a life of peace and freedom,” Hong Kieu wrote.
She shared that as she couldn’t return to Vietnam to see activities to the Reunification Day celebration, she chose her own way to honour the event from far away.
Tibet is a plateau region in Asia, called the Roof of the World with an average altitude of 4,900 metres.
