Vietnam to purchase drones from Belarus

Russian Radio reported that Vietnam will buy unmanned aerial vehicles from Belarus.

Russian Radio reported that Vietnam will buy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) from Belarus.

This was announced on May 16 in Minsk at the talks between Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and his Belarusian counterpart, Mikhail Myasnikovich.

PM Myasnikovich noted that there is potential for cooperation projects in science, technology, geography and medicine.

Belarus and Vietnam also have similar approaches to cooperating in areas related to military methods and technology, he said, adding that the Belarus government is willing to help train Vietnamese students at Belarusian universities.
