
According to the ministry, the 31-year-old man who lives in District 10 travelled in the same car with the 45th Covid-19 case to meet the 34th case in Binh Thuan Province on March 3.
After hearing about the 34th case on March 11, he self-quarantined at home.
On March 13, he was taken to a quarantine area in District 10 and his samples showed positive for SARS-CoV-2 the same evening, the ministry said, adding that he is now in stable condition.
So far, the 34th Covid-19 patient who is a 51-year-old businesswoman in Binh Thuan Province has transmitted the virus to 10 other people including her four family members.
