Co-organised by the Vietnamese People Association in Laos, its chapter in Vientiane and the Vietnamese Tradition and History Education Centre, the event was attended by more than 200 Vietnamese veterans, relatives of fallen combatants, overseas Vietnamese and students in Laos.
Addressing the event, President of the Vietnamese People Association in Vientiane Nguyen Duy Trung spoke highly of the presence of more than 200 Vietnamese veterans and relatives of Vietnamese martyrs.
Trung also pledged to do his utmost to help overseas Vietnamese in Laos work as a bridge to link the two countries’ relations.
