Two bus stations proposed to ease Dalat traffic congestion

The Construction Department of the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong has recommended building two bus stations to reduce traffic jams in Dalat City.

According to the proposal, the bus station at the foot of Prenn Pass will cost VND1 trillion (USD38.53 million). It will cover 38 hectares, stretching Ward 3 of Dalat City and Hiep An Commune in Duc Trong District. Once completed, it will accommodate 790 buses, 122 minibuses, and 200 taxis or private cars.

Meanwhile, the 36.6-hectare bus terminal in Da Sar Commune, Lac Duong District, with a projected investment of VND884 billion, is designed to feature 817 50-seat buses, 83 minibuses, and more than 60 taxis.

The investment for these two projects will be raised from private sources.

The projects are scheduled to be carried out between 2025 and 2028. They are part of a broader plan to ease traffic congestion in Dalat by 2030.
