The juvenile eagle landed at the garden in Mai Trung Commune in Hiep Hoa District and was unable to fly.

The eagle has been handed over to Cuc Phuong National Park
Resident Nguyen Van Que, took the animal home and placed it in a cage. He then contacted the Wildlife Rescue, Conservation and Development Centre of Cuc Phuong National Park.
On Tuesday, the eagle was handed over to the centre.
The eastern imperial eagle is an extremely rare and endangered animal listed in the Red Data Book of Vietnam and the IUCN Red List.
