On April 30-May 1, the northern region, particularly mountainous and midland areas, would have strong rain and wind. The same weather would happen in the Central Highlands and southern regions by late afternoon and evening, Anh said.
He added that thunderstorms and violent wind would occur during the rain.
However, the weather conditions in northern and central localities would be better from May 2, Anh noted.
People are advised to update the weather information for their holiday.
Public workers in Vietnam will have four days off from Saturday to Tuesday to celebrate the country’s Reunification Day (April 30) and International Workers’ Day (May 1).
