The macaque, weighing about 3kg, was discovered after straying into the DK4 reserve warehouse in area KV9, under the management of the agricultural reserve sub-department 9. Upon detection, warehouse staff promptly informed local authorities.
According to forest rangers, the animal is scientifically known as Macaca arctoides.
After being handed over, it underwent a health check and is currently being cared for and rehabilitated in accordance with regulations.
