The event, which aims to address workers' issues relating to jobs, incomes and working environments, will see the participation of some 4,500 local workers, and be connected to other cities and provinces nationwide.
After announcing the event, the VGCL has so far received nearly 10,000 questions and proposals from workers, mainly focusing on the region-based minimum wage rise from July 1, and amendments to policies on social insurance, housing and food safety.
Besides the meeting, the PM is also scheduled to present gifts to workers in difficult circumstances in Bac Giang Province.
The VGCL will host a national entertainment show on VTV3- featuring Vietnamese workers.
Through the show, workers will express their aspirations and wishes, and show off their talents, skills and knowledge of the law, as well as their civil commitment to society.
