Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh instructed Ha Giang authorities, along with concerned ministries and agencies, to focus on the search for the missing, swiftly address the aftermath of the incident, and proactively respond to landslide threats.

The government leader has asked the Ministry of National Defense to cooperate with the Ministry of Transport and Ha Giang authorities to deploy drones to scan vulnerable areas at risk of landslides. This aims to identify cracks for early warning and preventive measures, including the evacuation of residents.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment is responsible for providing timely weather forecasts to the public.
