Petrol prices slightly fall in Friday adjustment

Retail petroleum prices fell at 3 pm today, August 29, following a decision by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

The price of biofuel E5 RON92 decreased by VND92 to VND20,332 per litre, while RON95 fell by VND208 to VND21,109 per litre.

Diesel prices declined by VND299 to VND18,477 per litre, kerosene declined by VND84 to VND19,065 per litre, and mazut prices dropped by VND194 per kilo to VND15,562 per kilo.

So far this year, domestic petrol prices have increased 17 times and decreased 18 times.

The two ministries also decided not to use the petrol price stabilisation fund this time.
