Petrol prices rise following five consecutive falls

Petrol prices rise following five consecutive falls - 1

Retail prices of petrol have increased on August 15.

The increase was made following five consecutive cuts.

The price of E5RON92 biofuel rose by VND170 per litre to a maximum of VND20,880 per litre, while RON95 increased by VND180 per litre to VND21,850 per litre.

Diesel prices were also slightly up by VND90 per litre to VND19,230 per litre, and kerosene prices up by VND160 per litre to VND19,570 per litre.

The price of mazut oil rose by VND220 per kilo to VND16,240 per kilo.

Since the beginning of this year, petrol prices have undergone 32 adjustments, with 17 increases and 15 falls.

The two ministries decided not to extract the petrol price stabilisation fund for the latest price adjustment.
