The incident happened on a flight of budget carrier Jetstar Pacific on the Dalat-Hanoi route. The man opened the door when the flight was going to take off. This was detected by the flight crew thanks to warning lights.

The carrier had to arrange technicians to check the aircraft to avoid possible issues, which caused the flight to be 40 minutes late.
Many passengers have opened emergency exit doors on Vietnamese airlines’ flights, including those who did it by mistake.
