On February 26, numerous government officials were found playing cards on the property of the People’s Committee of Tien Dong Commune, Tu Ky District, Hai Duong Province.

Vu Dinh Mua and some associates went to Doan Khe Hamlet, Tien Dong Commune to handle some business matters but couldn’t find anyone because all offices on the site were closed.
After looking for assistance, they wandered up to the second floor and discovered all the officials playing cards in the office of Dinh Xuan Tru, Party Committee Secretary of Tien Dong Commune.
They rushed to look for other leaders and journalists. There were 4 people playing cards including Tru, Dao Cong Thong (Doan Khe Hamlet Secretary), Dang Trung Bay (policeman), and Hoang Van Dien (Chairman of Fatherland Front of the Commune). There was also a security guard watching.
After the game was uncovered, all players collected their wallets and walked away.
When questioned by DTiNews, Tru confessed that he was playing cards but said it was just for fun.
“If the report is true, the People’s Committee will request that the Internal Affairs Department punish participants according to the laws,” said Pham Van Ton, head of the office of Tu Ky District People's Committee, Hai Duong Province.
Vu Dinh Mua also sent the report to authorities of Tu Ky District.
