Ninh Binh prepares to reopen tourism following vaccinations

Some 3,000 boat rowers in Ninh Binh Province have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 as the province is going to resume operation, Ninh Binh Department of Tourism announced on September 27.

  

Boat rowers ready to return to work

Around 2,000 boat rowers are based at Trang An Complex, including 1,000 at Tam Coc-Bich Dong. The Department of Health had to work closely with the local authorities in order to vaccinate all the people in a short time.

Dinh Thi Lan said she had become unemployed for months so everyone was happy when they could return to work.

"We were worried because we did not have any source of income. We feel safer now after being vaccinated and hopefully, everything will return to normal soon," Lan said.

The rowers come into direct contact with a lot of tourists. In order to reopen the industry safely, the local authorities were determined to fully vaccinate all the rowers in the area.

Ninh Binh Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention said they had not recorded any severe reactions from people after being vaccinated.

The authorities in Ninh Binh Province's Hoa Lu District recently had introduced online tours on social media in order to better promote tourism amid the pandemic.
