Hoi An Town in the central province of Quang Nam will pilot the use of electric cars to transport tourists from January 1.
Under the plan approved by the provincial people’s committee, the four-wheel cars will be operated at certain routes in the tourist town from 6 am to 10 pm. Local authorities will determine the specific locations of the stops and install suitable traffic signs along the routes on which the tourist cars will operate.
