HCM City to hold various activities to celebrate Reunification Day
Meanwhile, between April 25 and May 4, the HCM City Urban Railway Company No.1 will increase the number of trips and extend daily service hours on Metro Line No.1 (Ben Thanh–Suoi Tien) to better serve passengers during the Reunification Day–May Day holiday period.
Specifically, on April 25, 28, and 29, metro services will run from 5am to 11pm, operating 210 trips per day — 10 more than usual — with intervals between trips ranging from 8 to 12 minutes.
On April 26-27 and from May 1-4, trains will continue to run from 5am to 11pm, with a higher frequency and shorter intervals.
On April 30, Metro Line No.1 will start operations earlier, at 4.30am, and further increase service frequency to accommodate the expected surge in passengers.
A series of activities will take place in HCM City to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and Reunification Day, including a grand military parade on April 30.
