According to local authorities, the fatal incident occurred at around 9am on June 23 on Dong Truong Son Road in M'Drak District.
Initial reports revealed that a 15-year-old was riding an electric bicycle with three younger children aged 4, 3, and 2. As they were exiting a smaller road onto Dong Truong Son Road, the bike collided with a moving trailer truck.
The strong impact killed the 15-year-old and the 3-year-old on the spot. The other two children, aged 4 and 2, sustained serious injuries and were rushed to hospital for emergency treatment.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is currently underway.
