According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, a cold front will hit the northern region from this evening. From tomorrow, February 27, mountainous areas will see temperature lows of below eight degrees centigrade. Hanoi's lowest temperature would be 11-14 degrees centigrade.

The cold weather would expand to the central region, including Quang Binh and Khanh Hoa provinces.

This weekend, on March 1-2, another cold front would strike the north, bringing light rain as well. Hanoi would have the temperature of 12-16 degrees on March 2.

Meanwhile, the Central Highlands and southern regions would struggle with the hot weather during the week. The highest temperature in southeastern localities would reach 35-37 degrees centigrade.
