While many children are enjoying the happiness of the International Children’s Day, less fortunate kids in central border areas are struggling to live.

Children in the central province of Nghe An which shares a border with neighbouring Laos have yet to receive any gift on this special day.
Mua Y Chi, a child in the mountainous district of Tuong Duong’s Tam Hop Commune, said she had no idea about International Children’s Day.
“My parents are busy all working in the fields to feed us as our family is very poor,” she said.
Due to economic difficulties, many children have not been able to get an education.
