According to reports from local authorities, the incident happened in Ho Hong area, Ward 7, on Wednesday afternoon.
A landslide in the Central Highlands of Lam Dong’s Da Lat City has killed two women and injured two others
Nguyen Thi Trang Dai from Dak Lak Province and Tran Thi Binh Huyen from Da Lat City died. Meanwhile, two men Khong Minh Phuoc and Nguyen Van Cang both from Dak Lak were seriously injured.
The two men are now staying at Lam Dong General Hospital.
The victims are between 21 and 30 years old.
Initial investigation showed that the four people were checking a land plot in Ward 7 to buy during heavy rain. They came to shelter at a nearby tent and then the landslide happened, burying all of them.
Despite being rescued by local authorities, the two women died on the spot.
