The offer applies to domestic and international visitors with valid tickets for the Hue-Phong Nha service in either direction or the Hue-Danang heritage train.
Eligible sites are the Imperial City, the Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities and the tombs of emperors Thieu Tri, Duc Duc and Dong Khanh.

Each paper or electronic train ticket entitles its holder to one discounted visit at one of the five sites. The offer is valid for seven consecutive days from the travel date shown on the ticket.
Visitors eligible for multiple concessions will receive the highest applicable discount. Discounts cannot be combined.
The policy aims to boost tourism, encourage rail travel and persuade visitors to stay longer. Railway operators and businesses will coordinate passenger data sharing with the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre to facilitate ticket checks.
The Hue-Danang heritage service takes about three hours, passing the Tam Giang-Cau Hai lagoon system, Lang Co Bay and Hai Van Pass, making the journey itself part of the visitor experience.
