The National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said weather conditions across Vietnam would remain unsettled, with localised heavy rain posing particular risks in the north.

Northern Vietnam is expected to see scattered showers and thunderstorms, with rainfall generally ranging from 10mm to 30mm, although some areas could receive more than 80mm. Thunderstorms may bring whirlwinds, lightning, hail and strong gusts.
The weather agency warned that heavy downpours could trigger flash floods in small rivers and streams, landslides in mountainous areas and flooding in low-lying locations.
Hanoi is also forecast to experience cloudy skies, scattered showers and thunderstorms, with isolated areas of heavy rain on November 2.
Rainfall across the north is expected to ease from November 3, with only isolated showers forecast. Early morning fog may develop in some areas, followed by sunshine around midday and in the afternoon.
However, scattered showers and thunderstorms could return to northern Vietnam from the night of November 5 through November 9, with locally heavy rain possible.
From November 8 to 11, Thanh Hoa and Ha Tinh provinces may experience rain and scattered thunderstorms, with some areas facing very heavy downpours.
Meanwhile, scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast in areas from Quang Tri to Danang, as well as eastern parts of Quang Ngai, Daklak and Khanh Hoa provinces over the coming days.
