Organised by Dantri/DTiNews in collaboration with SCG and BM Plasco, the event follows the first tour held in August at Prime Tien Phong's factory in Phu Tho Province.
While the first tour focused on green transition and effective management for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the upcoming event will examine automation, operational efficiency and green finance in greater depth.

Manufacturers face growing pressure to improve productivity, control costs and meet sustainability requirements, making technology investment and resource allocation increasingly important.
Automation can boost productivity, improve product quality and stabilise production processes, but not every solution is suitable for every factory.
Investment effectiveness depends on operational needs, production scale and compatibility with existing production lines. Businesses must also consider operating costs and their capacity to use new technologies after installation, issues to be addressed at the event.
Through factory tours and discussions, participants will gain insights into ESG practices, exchange management experience and explore ways to optimise resources and select solutions suited to their operations.
The event will take place at Binh Minh Plastics' factory in Tay Ninh. Binh Minh Plastics Joint Stock Company, which manufactures and sells plastic pipes and fittings, is part of Thailand's SCG Group.
Participants will examine ESG practices in manufacturing, including production management, resource optimisation, energy efficiency, workplace safety, risk management and technological innovation.
Discussions will address practical questions such as which production processes to automate first, how to assess investment effectiveness and how to balance technology upgrades against other operational needs.
Businesses need to identify production bottlenecks and assess performance using indicators such as productivity, defect rates, downtime and energy and material consumption. These measures can also help determine investment payback periods and evaluate investment options.
Green finance will be another key focus. Projects that save energy, improve resource efficiency or reduce environmental impacts may open up access to suitable financing, provided they meet lenders' requirements.
Environmental objectives alone do not determine access to finance. Project feasibility, financial performance and repayment capacity are also critical, alongside reliable data to demonstrate results and monitor investment effectiveness.
Speakers include Niwat Athiwattananont, SCG Vietnam vice president and Binh Minh Plastics general director; Chung Tan Cuong, chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Plastics Association (VSPA); and Bong Hoa Viet, Binh Minh Plastics sustainability director.
Other speakers include Ngo Thi Thu Thuy, Fujiwa Vietnam chairwoman, and Professor Nguyen Duc Trung, rector of the Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City có vần viet hoa các chức danh k, chẳng hạn president
They are expected to share experience in corporate governance, energy and emissions management, technology adoption, automation and resource optimisation in manufacturing.

Dantri hopes the programme will encourage knowledge-sharing among businesses and promote practical approaches to ESG implementation in manufacturing.
Lessons in automation, resource optimisation and operational management could help companies identify investment strategies suited to their size and capabilities.
The October 29 event will also allow businesses to observe factory operations, explore automation applications and discuss green finance with experts, business representatives and banking professionals.
The programme aims to help businesses develop appropriate technology investment plans, assess their effectiveness and gradually integrate ESG principles into production and business operations.
Part of Vietnam ESG Forum 2026
ESG Company Tour is a supporting event of the Vietnam ESG Forum 2026, themed "Seizing Opportunities-Driving Growth", an initiative launched and organised by Dantri.
The first tour took place on August 12 at Prime Tien Phong's factory in Phu Tho, focusing on "Green Transition and Effective Management for SMEs".
Launched in 2024, the annual Vietnam ESG Forum features conferences, panel discussions, company tours and the Vietnam ESG Awards, which recognise organisations demonstrating strong ESG performance.
The 2026 forum is scheduled for December under the theme "Seizing Opportunities-Driving Growth", reflecting the growing importance of environmental, social and governance standards to business competitiveness.
This year's forum will emphasise not only the need for early action but also the role of businesses and organisations in turning sustainability challenges into opportunities to drive sustainable growth.
