Dalat to host Vietnam Jazz Heritage Festival

The Vietnam Jazz Heritage Festival 2026 will take place in Dalat from November 6 to 8, featuring local and international artists as part of the 11th Dalat Flower Festival.

The provincial People's Committee has approved a plan for the three-day event, which aims to promote Dalat's cultural appeal and its status as a UNESCO Creative City of Music.

The opening programme will run from 5 pm to 10 pm on November 6 at Lam Vien Square, with a low-altitude fireworks display planned.

A second public performance is scheduled for November 7 from 6 pm to 9 pm outside the April 3 Cinema in the Hoa Binh area.

Additional performances for invited guests will take place at the Haus Dalat project site on November 7 and 8.

The expected international line-up includes Japanese singer Lisa Ono, South Korean acts DaDaDa and JKC, and US artists Nik West and Raul Midon.

Vietnamese performers are expected to include Hoai Sa, Tran Thu Ha, Hong Nhung and the Yellow Star Big Band.

Lam Dong Vice Chairman Dinh Van Tuan has instructed relevant departments and local authorities to coordinate preparations, particularly security, traffic management, fire prevention, healthcare and environmental sanitation.

Organisers must meet all required safety and administrative conditions before staging the performances.

Dalat Land Investment, Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company, the developer of Haus Dalat, will cover the festival's full operating costs.

Provincial authorities hope the event will attract more visitors, promote local tourism and strengthen Dalat's reputation as a destination for music and cultural experiences.
