BIGBANG leave Vietnam after two electrifying Hanoi concerts

Three members of BIGBANG left Hanoi on the afternoon of October 26 to return to South Korea after two concerts at My Dinh Stadium that drew around 90,000 attendees.

Accompanied by security staff, the artists travelled from their accommodation to Noi Bai International Airport in a fleet of luxury SUVs. They were expected to land in South Korea later that afternoon or evening.

Many fans gathered at Noi Bai Airport to see the members off. Group leader G-Dragon cheerfully waved back at the crowd. All three members opted for casual, comfortable outfits, wearing T-shirts and jeans as they made their way through the airport.

BIGBANG had performed two concerts at My Dinh Stadium on the evenings of October 24 and 25. Each show lasted nearly three hours, offering a varied musical experience that combined emotional ballads with high-energy performances. The three members’ command of the stage, sustained energy and consistent performance helped create an electric atmosphere.

Beyond the music, BIGBANG won fans over with their warm interactions with the audience. G-Dragon was visibly moved several times as he spoke about the group’s 20th anniversary and thanked fans for standing by them through the ups and downs. He said he had worked hard to make BIGBANG’s reunion with fans at this point possible.

According to the organisers, the two concerts attracted around 90,000 attendees in total. Fans sang along, cheered and raised their light sticks, creating a dazzling sea of lights across the stands. Fan chants from the shows were widely shared on social media, drawing attention from the international fan community.

After the final concert, Daesung described the Vietnam shows as “the best”. He also expressed a desire to prepare a contract for another concert in Vietnam, prompting an enthusiastic response from the other two members. All three promised to return to Vietnam soon.

BIGBANG debuted in 2006 as a five-member group comprising G-Dragon, Taeyang, T.O.P, Seungri and Daesung. The group made its mark with a blend of hip-hop, R&B and pop, and became known for its songwriting, live performances and choreography. BIGBANG has won numerous major music awards across Asia and helped bring K-pop to a wider international audience.

In 2018, the members began their mandatory military service in succession. “Flower Road” was the last release featuring all five members before the group’s hiatus. When BIGBANG returned in 2022, it was active as a four-member group, with Seungri having left the entertainment industry following a legal scandal. T.O.P confirmed his departure from BIGBANG in 2023.
