The Hanoi Department of Home Affairs said the event would bring together 30-50 companies, construction contractors and manufacturers, participating both in person and online.
The recruitment drive aims to secure skilled workers for public investment projects, transport infrastructure and other major developments across the capital.
The event will prioritise disadvantaged jobseekers, including unemployed workers, demobilised military and police personnel, people affected by land acquisition, those with disabilities and people reintegrating into society after imprisonment or drug rehabilitation.
Employers will offer vacancies across a range of skill levels, with some positions reserved for older workers and disadvantaged jobseekers.
The event is expected to attract 500-1,000 jobseekers, who will receive employment advice, career guidance and information on labour laws and policies.
Between 10 and 15 universities, colleges, vocational schools and continuing education centres will also take part, offering training and enrolment advice.
The fair aims to strengthen links between vocational training institutions and employers, helping align workforce skills with the needs of infrastructure contractors.
The second Construction, Engineering and Transport Job Fair of 2026 will begin at 8 am on October 31 at Hanoi Vocational Secondary School of Transport and Public Works.
