According to Nguyen Thanh Hien, director of the Khanh Hoa Development Project Management Board, on October 22 that contractors were taking advantage of favourable weather to accelerate work along the coastal road in Bac Nha Trang Ward.

Construction is being carried out in stages, with old railings removed and new sections completed before work moves to the next area to minimise disruption to residents and tourists.
Around 400 metres of new railings have been largely completed.
Local resident Le Van Duc said the new railings looked more attractive and sturdier than the old structures, many of which had become rusty and potentially unsafe.
However, he said more time would be needed to assess their durability.
Contractors have installed warning signs and safety barriers along sections where replacement work has yet to be completed.
According to Hien, the project has a budget of more than VND 13.7 billion, covering the replacement of nearly two kilometres of railings and repairs to damaged structural beams, retaining walls and steps.
The new railings combine reinforced concrete, granite, polished stone and stainless steel fittings, with supporting pillars spaced approximately three metres apart.
The design aims to improve safety, withstand harsh coastal conditions and enhance the appearance of the beachfront along Pham Van Dong Street.
