The provincial People's Committee announced on October 10 that 90 fireworks launch racks would be installed at Nghia Lo Stadium for a display scheduled to begin at 9.15 pm, following the festival's opening performance.
The fireworks will be funded through private contributions, with authorities tasked with ensuring public safety and security.
The provincial Military Command will coordinate with police, cultural authorities and Nghia Lo Ward officials to prepare the display, while police will oversee traffic management and fire prevention.
The festival will open on the evening of October 16 with a cultural performance themed Thai Xoe Dance-A Complete Circle of Love, celebrating the traditional dance of the Thai ethnic community.
A mass Xoe dance performance involving 2,026 participants will be among the festival's highlights.
Organisers will distribute free tickets for the opening ceremony, with seating available for approximately 10,000 spectators at Nghia Lo Stadium.
