Held in Bac Ninh City on the morning of October 10, the forum was themed “Enhancing capabilities, connecting supply chains and developing markets”.
The event was jointly organised by Dantri Newspaper, the Bac Ninh Department of Industry and Trade and the Bac Ninh Industrial Manufacturing Association, under the direction of the Bac Ninh People’s Committee.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nguyen Thi Ha, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, said Vietnam was becoming a destination for international corporations in electronics, semiconductors and high technology.
Alongside investment inflows and the expansion of foreign-invested manufacturers, she said, a substantial domestic market was emerging for Vietnamese suppliers capable of joining global production chains.
“For Bac Ninh, this opportunity is particularly significant, as the city is already one of the country’s major centres for electronics, high technology and industrial manufacturing,” Ha said.

Pham Van Thinh, a member of the municipal Party Committee’s Standing Board and vice-chairman of the Bac Ninh People’s Committee, said the city regarded connections to global supply chains and markets as essential to sustaining stable, sustainable double-digit economic growth.

The forum aims to help bridge gaps between international buyers and domestic manufacturers. It also forms part of an initiative to bring the Vietnam ESG Forum to localities across the country.
Discussions focused on practical business challenges, including why many domestic factories can produce components that meet required standards but still struggle to secure major contracts.

Businesses also displayed their products at exhibition booths, showcasing their manufacturing capabilities and seeking opportunities to connect and cooperate with potential partners.
