Pham Thanh Lam, director of Ca Mau Airport, said Vietnam Airlines would operate daily return flights between Ca Mau and HCM City using Airbus A321 aircraft.
Flights from HCM City are scheduled to depart at 12.50 pm and arrive in Ca Mau at 1.55 pm, while return services will leave at 2.50 pm and arrive at 3.50 pm.

Fares will range from VND 924,000 to VND 964,000 (approximately USD 35-37), including ticketing fees.
Lam said the HCM City route would be restored first, while provincial authorities were working with the Airports Corporation of Vietnam to develop additional domestic services, particularly flights connecting Ca Mau with Hanoi.
Construction crews are working around the clock to complete the airport upgrade before the planned reopening.
According to Nguyen Le Tu, director of the airport expansion project, more than 400 workers and hundreds of machines have been deployed to accelerate runway construction.
The passenger terminal is more than 95 per cent complete, with remaining work focused on sound and lighting systems and surrounding facilities.
Meanwhile, the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation has conducted eight flight inspection missions to assess radar performance and operational safety.
Nguyen Hoang Giang, director of its Air Traffic Technical Services Company, said the inspections confirmed that secondary surveillance radar stations in Ca Mau met operational requirements.
Additional tests of aircraft identification and emergency codes also met standards recommended by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).
Under the 2021-2030 development plan, Ca Mau Airport will be upgraded to ICAO Code 4C, allowing it to accommodate Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft or equivalent models.
Its planned capacity will reach one million passengers and 1,000 tonnes of cargo annually by 2030, rising to three million passengers and 3,000 tonnes of cargo by 2050.
Provincial authorities expect the upgraded airport to strengthen links with Hanoi, HCM City, Da Nang and other economic centres, supporting tourism, trade and investment while contributing to the province's economic growth ambitions.
