The HCM City Public Transport Management Centre said the changes would affect routes 5, 6, 13, 14, 28, 30, 38, 65, 69, 103, DL01, DL02 and DL04.
The diversions will apply to sections of Cach Mang Thang Tam, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Suong Nguyet Anh and Bui Thi Xuan streets, as well as the Truong Chinh-Cach Mang Thang Tam-Ly Thuong Kiet-Hoang Van Thu intersection.
On routes 5 and 6, services towards Cho Lon Bus Station will be diverted from their usual sections around Vo Van Tan, Ba Huyen Thanh Quan and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai streets, while services in the opposite direction will remain unchanged.
Routes 13 and 65 will be diverted around construction sites for ST07, or Bay Hien Station, and ST02, or Tao Dan Station. Around Bay Hien, buses will travel via Truong Chinh and Ly Thuong Kiet streets and Lac Long Quan Roundabout before returning to Cach Mang Thang Tam Street.
Around Tao Dan Station, buses will be diverted via Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Huyen Tran Cong Chua, Thu Khoa Huan, Le Thanh Ton, Pham Hong Thai, Nguyen Thi Nghia and Le Lai streets.
Routes 14, 28, 30, 69 and 103 will also be diverted in one direction, while services in the opposite direction will remain unchanged.
Both directions of Route 38, linking Tan Quy Residential Area and Dam Sen Bus Station, will be adjusted through several central streets.
Three services connecting central HCM City, DL01, DL02 and DL04, will also have parts of their routes changed.
The centre advised passengers using the 13 services to check updated route information from October 10 and plan their journeys accordingly.
