Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) said on October 4 that recruitment was being carried out alongside efforts to complete the airport's infrastructure.
Four recruitment rounds held earlier this year brought in more than 220 new employees, taking the airport's workforce to about 400. A further three to four rounds are planned from August through the end of the year.

The airport is recruiting for 11 positions, including drivers and ground equipment operators, technical maintenance staff, apron inspectors and airside cleaning staff.
Applicants are required to have completed high school and, depending on the position, hold technical qualifications ranging from vocational training to university degrees. They must also have a minimum TOEIC score of 300 or equivalent.
Monthly salaries for the positions start at VND 13 million (USD 494).
ACV said most applicants met professional requirements but lacked foreign-language and other skills, which are essential as Long Thanh is planned as a regional aviation hub serving international passengers.

Successful applicants will receive internal training and regular refresher courses, including drills and training on automated baggage handling, gates and advanced screening equipment.
ACV estimates that nearly 14,000 workers will be needed for the airport's first phase, including almost 9,000 aviation service workers and about 3,000 airport operations staff.
A further 1,544 workers are expected to be needed across 10 categories of frontline jobs.
As construction moves into the completion and testing stages, infrastructure work and staff preparations are being carried out in parallel, with the first phase of Long Thanh airport targeted to begin operations by the end of the year.
