The exercise was held at Nhon Station on Metro Line 3, the Nhon-Cau Giay section, in coordination with specialised police and Hanoi's internal security police.
The drill focused on command, coordination and cooperation among participating forces, testing their ability to mobilise personnel and equipment and respond to simulated security incidents.
It was aimed at strengthening emergency response capabilities and ensuring the safety of passengers, staff, infrastructure and metro operations.
Hanoi Railway One Member Limited Liability Company (Hanoi Metro) also held a security and counter-terrorism training programme for employees at Phu Luong Depot on the Cat Linh-Ha Dong metro line.
The training provided staff with updated legal knowledge and practical skills in maintaining security and public order and responding to security-related incidents.
The exercises will also be used to review and improve coordination procedures and response plans for Hanoi Metro's urban railway lines.
