Authorities in Long Thanh Ward said on September 30 that overnight downpours had left several residential areas and roads deeply flooded.
Traffic was severely disrupted, particularly along DT769, where multiple flooded sections caused prolonged congestion.

In the former Loc An Commune area, heavy rain caused Bung Mon Stream to swell and overflow into nearby residential areas, with floodwaters exceeding one metre in some places.
Water entered a number of homes overnight, damaging household belongings and property.
Several sections of DT769, which connects National Highway 51 with Loc An-Binh Son Industrial Park, were deeply flooded, making it difficult for motorbikes to pass. Many workers were unable to reach their workplaces, while traffic backed up along the road.
On the night of September 29, Long Thanh Ward authorities deployed personnel to help residents move belongings and livestock to higher ground.
The rain had eased by Wednesday morning, but floodwaters were receding slowly.

In Long Phuoc Commune, overnight heavy rain also caused localised flooding in several residential areas, disrupting travel and daily life.
The road from a local petrol station to Bau Can-Tan Hiep Industrial Park was flooded in several sections. Water entered three homes, reaching a depth of around 0.6 metres.
The Long Phuoc Commune Military Command deployed 18 officers and militia members to flooded areas to assist residents.
They helped move belongings to safety, raise household items above the water, clear drainage channels and remove potential blockages.
According to the Dong Nai Hydrometeorological Station, widespread heavy rain was recorded from the night of September 29 into Wednesday morning in Long Thanh, Nhon Trach, Bien Hoa and Vinh Cuu.
The downpours caused water levels in rivers and streams to rise, flooding roads and low-lying residential areas.
