According to local authorities, heavy rain fell for hours that evening, sending water from upstream areas into Linh Son and Da Rlom hamlets.
Rising floodwaters inundated numerous homes and businesses, damaging household items and other property.
In response, the Bao Lam 3 People's Committee mobilised dozens of police and military personnel to help residents move their belongings to safer locations. Authorities also cleared blocked drainage systems to ease flooding.

By around 9.20 pm, the rain had stopped and water levels in some areas began to recede. Police and military personnel continued helping residents clean up and recover from the flooding.
