The buffalo, whose distinctive horns curl backwards into an unusual circular shape, has become a "star" among visitors exploring Yok Don National Park.
On September 28, a representative of Yok Don National Park in Buon Don Commune, Daklak Province, confirmed the presence of the unusual animal.
The black buffalo has been grazed by local residents in several areas of the park for the past three to four years.

Because of its distinctive horns, many visitors stop to observe and film the animal whenever they encounter it while exploring the forest.
Unlike the typical shape of buffalo horns, this animal's horns curve backwards, forming circular loops that point down towards its neck. The unusual feature has made the buffalo a memorable highlight for many visitors' forest excursions.
Yok Don National Park is known for its distinctive forest ecosystem and nature- and local culture-based activities. Visitors can take part in forest trekking, camping, cycling, local cultural experiences and elephant-friendly tourism activities.

Nguyen Thanh An, 28, from Danang, said: "I was genuinely surprised when I first saw the buffalo with such unusual horns. At first, we thought the horns had been shaped by people to make them circular.
"After the guide explained that this was entirely a natural feature of the buffalo, I found the trip to Yok Don National Park even more interesting and memorable."
