Police in Haiphong City have arrested Li Feng, a Chinese national wanted under an international notice in connection with a fatal assault case, authorities announced on September 24.

According to investigators, Li Feng, born in 1976, is a resident of Dongxing Town, Dongxing City, Guangxi Province, China. Police in Dongxing City had issued a criminal arrest warrant and an international wanted notice classifying him as a particularly dangerous fugitive on charges of intentionally inflicting injuries resulting in death.
Following his arrest, Haiphong City Police coordinated with relevant agencies to complete legal procedures before escorting and transferring Li to Chinese authorities through an international border crossing.
The handover was carried out in accordance with applicable laws and bilateral judicial assistance agreements.
Haiphong City Police said the timely detection and arrest of Li contributed to maintaining public security and order while strengthening international cooperation in the fight against crime.
