Mother and two children die in Lam Dong house fire

A fire that destroyed a wooden house in Lam Dong Province has claimed the lives of a woman and her two young children, authorities said.

Authorities in Lam Dong Province are investigating a house fire that killed three members of the same family in Dam Rong 2 Commune.

According to preliminary information, the blaze broke out in the early hours of September 22 at a 50-square-metre wooden house in Lieng Hung Village.

The fire completely destroyed the property and claimed the lives of a 32-year-old woman and her two children, who were born in 2024 and 2026.

Officials said the cause of the fire has not yet been determined and remains under investigation.

According to leaders of Dam Rong 2 Commune, the area where the fire occurred is located in a remote region with difficult road access and no mobile phone coverage.

Local authorities have visited the victims' relatives to offer condolences and support.

An investigation into the incident is continuing.
