According to the Lam Dong Province Civil Defence Command, weather conditions in the locality were complicated from September 8 to 11, with damage caused by natural disasters estimated at more than VND 3 billion (USD 115,000).
Prolonged heavy rain hit many communes and wards across the province, triggering flooding and landslides. The natural disasters affected dozens of homes.

In Ta Dung Commune, floodwater entered 35 homes in residential clusters 14 and 16 in Dak R'Mang 1 Village, damaging property. In Quang Son Commune, three houses were located in a landslide-prone area, forcing residents to evacuate. In Nam Gia Nghia Ward, five households were affected by flooding.
The disasters also inundated more than 14 hectares of crops. Of that, about 10 hectares of farmland along Mo Stream in Suoi Kiet Commune were flooded, while 3.4 hectares in Quang Tin Commune and about 1 hectare in Quang Hoa Commune were affected.

From the night of September 11 to September 12, uphill embankments on D'ran Pass and Prenn Pass, both on National Highway 20 in Dalat, suffered landslides, making travel difficult.
According to the Lam Dong Province Civil Defence Command, in response to adverse weather developments, local authorities mobilised forces to help residents evacuate dangerous areas. Officials also erected warning signs and cordoned off landslide sites to ensure public safety.
