Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc approved a proposal by the Dong Nai City People's Committee to act as the lead agency for the three projects, according to the Government Office.

The first project will build a bridge across Ong Tiep Creek, linking DT747A road in Tan Uyen Ward, HCM City, with D21 road in Bien Hoa Ward, Dong Nai.
The second involves two bridges connecting D8 road and an inter-area road in the former Binh Duong Province, now in Tan Dong Hiep and Tan Khanh wards, with LKV27 road in Bien Hoa Ward.
The third bridge will connect DT14 road in Tan Khanh Ward with D30 road in Bien Hoa Ward.
The deputy prime minister instructed Dong Nai authorities to implement the projects in accordance with regulations and ensure efficiency while preventing misconduct, waste and losses of state funds and assets.
Dong Nai and HCM City share a largely riverine boundary, with ferries still providing connections at many points.
The two localities have also recently agreed on lead agencies for three other bridges, Thanh Hoi 2, Tan An and Tan Hien, aimed at strengthening transport links between them.
