Businesses in Ho Chi Minh City are seeking more than 15,000 workers this month, with vacancies ranging from entry-level positions to management roles.
Nguyen Van Hanh Thuc, director of the Ho Chi Minh City Employment Service Centre, said on September 10 that 110 businesses had registered to participate in the city's 2026 in-person and online job fair scheduled for September 14.

According to organisers, the companies have registered a total of 15,446 vacancies across a wide range of occupations and skill levels, from manual workers to managerial staff.
Worldon (Vietnam) Co Ltd has the largest recruitment demand, seeking 6,000 workers for its facility at the Southeast Industrial Park in Binh My Commune. The company is looking for 5,000 garment workers and 1,000 support workers for jobs including cutting, quality inspection, ironing, warehousing and packaging.
Freetrend Industrial (Vietnam) Co Ltd has the second-largest recruitment demand, with 1,000 vacancies for production workers at Linh Trung 1 Export Processing Zone in Linh Xuan Ward.
Monthly salaries of VND 7-12 million (USD 269-462) are the most common, accounting for around 70-80 per cent of all vacancies. The range mainly applies to unskilled workers, production workers, garment workers, packers, warehouse assistants, sales staff, cashiers and security guards.
For skilled or experienced workers, including office staff, accountants, maintenance technicians, import-export employees, production-line supervisors and customer service staff, typical salaries range from VND 8 million to VND 15 million (USD 308-577) a month.
Management and highly qualified positions, such as store managers, sales department heads, engineers, interpreters, import-export specialists and garment production managers, generally offer VND 15-25 million (USD 577-962) a month.
Some companies are also offering negotiable salaries for senior positions and jobs requiring advanced technical expertise, including technical staff, specialised engineers, senior accountants and human resources personnel, operations supervisors and other specialised roles.
For these positions, actual earnings depend largely on candidates' experience, professional qualifications and ability to negotiate during the recruitment process.
The September job fair is expected to provide a broad range of employment opportunities as businesses in Vietnam's largest economic hub continue to expand their workforce.
